Abstract

In this review article it is intended to theoretically support the support of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the teaching process in university education in times of Pandemic, and that these knowledge are put into practice even after the pandemic, since it is important that teachers are aware of why, for what and when they use ICTs in their teaching work, based on theories and approaches that give rise to methodologies and strategies for work in the classroom and outside the classroom. For the development of this work we have used the Bibliographic Research method for which we had to resort to the analysis of 10 journals of which 5 are original results articles and 5 are review articles, all of them related to the use of the ICT in Higher Education in the various contexts in Latin America; During the development, the variables that favor the use of ICTs as support in the university teaching process were identified.
