The presence of schoolchildren with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in Primary Education is a concern for teachers. Provide quality educational attention to the preparation of professionals who face this difficult circumstance in their performance. This article presents the results of a participatory action research coordinated by the school psychopedagogue, which was carried out at the Camilo Cienfuegos school in the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara province, Cuba. In an exploratory moment, deficiencies were identified in the preparation of teachers, with the use of document analysis, participant observation and in-depth interviews. To resolve this situation, actions were planned based on the regulations established by the Ministry of Education, which were executed through the Methodological Work System. The transformations that occur in teachers are verified, these are illustrated by a case study. The teacher selected for his study participated in these actions systematically, in addition, in an interspersed way, he was individually guided. Their personal characteristics, their motivations, interests, needs and potentialities allowed the achievement of new knowledge, progress in performance, as well as the strengthening of their positive attitudes towards attending schoolchildren with ADHD.
