Abstract

The self-regulation of content consists of giving prominence to the member of each group that interacts on the internet, for this, rules of their own conduct are established for internal protection against acts contrary to those stipulated. The methodology used was focused on the positivist paradigm, quantitative approach, descriptive type, deductive method, non-experimental and transectional design. The questionnaire was applied to 135 Peruvian university students, who actively participated and expressed their perception regarding the practice of sexting, obtaining as a result that there is a high level of empathy for the victims of this practice that originates violation of the rights of the person, specifically to his honor and reputation.
