Psychopedagogical Guidance is the process of continuous help and accompaniment to subjects, in an integral way, with the aim of promoting prevention and human development throughout life, which implies that the help relationship is carried out through a personalized intervention, which allows progress and personal growth, based on the knowledge of reality, as well as planned actions that allow their execution and evaluation. This article addresses the conception of a Master's Program in Education, Mention in Educational Orientation, which is part of the postgraduate academic offer of the Metropolitan University of Ecuador. It begins with a study of relevance and needs, as core elements of the curriculum design of the program, where the substantive functions of teaching, research and linking are integrated, to achieve coherence in the psychopedagogical training of the teacher, of the different educational levels in the equator.
