The evaluation of the perceived quality is one of the fundamental pillars in the intention of achieving a continuous improvement of the processes of the organizations and their services. The objective of this article is to present the evaluation of the perceived quality in the respiratory service of the “Paquito González Cueto” Children's University Hospital in Cienfuegos. The procedure implemented to meet this objective is that of Curbelo (2013), which consists of four stages and ten steps developed from the use of a set of tools to collect information, group work and statistical analysis. made with the support of specialized program packages. The implementation of the procedure makes it possible to verify the reliability of the instrument for evaluating perceived quality completed by family users of the service under study. The results presented cover up to stage III, step 5 of the procedure, exposing the evaluation of the satisfaction of the services by the patients.
