Abstract
CORDOVA RAMIREZ, Elena; PISCOYA JURUPE, Julio and ZURITA PINGLO, Marco Antonio. Research capabilities in secondary students: a bibliographic review. Conrado [online]. 2021, vol.17, n.80, pp. 178-183. Epub June 02, 2021. ISSN 1990-8644.
The objective of the article is to determine the investigative capacities of high school students. The work was developed on the basis of information from recent articles related to the subject. The bibliographic review allowed us to recognize sources of information on the importance of research capacities in secondary school students that are related to the skills and abilities of analysis, processing, information search and investigation of the students necessary to raise their performance levels. These skills correspond to the search for new routes for inquiry into direct and indirect sources oriented to critical thinking demanded by today's world; as well as the development of investigative skills to form a system of attitudes based on affectivity and love for inquiry. Given this, the factors that affect the research tasks of secondary school students are related to strategies, resources, teacher commitment and the training orientation of the institution.
