Abstract

The development of the research raised questions about the quality of online instruction at the University of Guayaquil and presents the community with a window of opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of online education and consider what protections are needed for university students. taking online courses required by the pandemic condition. The objectives of the process are to define the advantages and limitations of synchronous, asynchronous and bichronic online learning; examine research on the quality of online bichronic learning applied so far; and correlate if the learning obtained is positive according to the perception of the teachers. The methodology used was quantitative and the inductive method was applied. A survey was applied to 375 students with statistical software and it was determined that teachers consider that the levels of quality of education fell to a little more than half of normal.
