Abstract

This research focuses on a biomechanical analysis of the Mawashi Geri Jodan Front technique with the aim of describing possible mistakes that lead to distorting the technique during its execution. For this, a female athlete from the Karate Do team of the Manuel Fajardo de la Habana University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences (UCCFD) was analyzed. Scientific research methods and techniques such as analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive, document analysis, observation and interview were used. A filming of the athlete under study was carried out, the technique was subdivided into three phases and each one was studied in detail through the Hu-m-an 5.0 software, which made it possible to specify the main imperfections committed by the athlete at the time. to execute said technique.
