Abstract
ESPINOZA LASTRA, Oscar; RAMIREZ RODRIGUEZ, Beatriz; ALVAREZ HERNANDEZ, Sary and CUARAN GUERRERO, Mireya. Assessment of the impact of informal trade through mental models obtained from university students. Conrado [online]. 2021, vol.17, n.83, pp. 161-166. Epub Dec 10, 2021. ISSN 1990-8644.
Informal commerce represents an activity where people of diverse origins offer products and services, competing directly with citizens who make similar offers, but complying with the legal parameters required by a business. However, quantifying the impact of informal trade would guarantee a tool to measure citizen satisfaction. This research proposes a solution to the problem raised from the development of a method to evaluate the impact of informal trade using multi-criteria technique. The proposal is applied as a case study in the Mariscal de Puyo market, from which it was possible to quantify the impact of informal trade. The obtaining of mental models by means of cognitive maps has many advantages, such as their later use in teaching.
