The use of medicinal plants focuses the attention of the world scientific community, which highlights its importance in the current and future health system, so Phytotherapy, as a branch of science that deals with the study in the use of plants for medicinal purposes, has also acquired transcendental importance. The objective of the research is to develop a Phytotherapy Manual that serves as reference material for research with medicinal plants and for the use of medicinal preparations from them. The research was carried out in two stages: stage of design and preparation of the manual and stage of validation by experts. A manual was prepared basically consisting of four fundamental parts (Introduction, Generalities, Monographs of medicinal plants and Bibliographic References), the medicinal plants included were the result of ethnobotanical studies carried out throughout the Planning Zone 3, the information of which was supplemented with the data published in the specialized scientific literature on the subject. As a result, a phytotherapy manual was developed that is useful as reference material for research with medicinal plants and for its use for therapeutic purposes and that is very appropriate according to the criteria of the experts who evaluated it.
