The work presented shows a virtual mentoring experience of the master's thesis. The main objective of the study was aimed at determining the feasibility and efficiency of this type of academic advising in postgraduate higher education. The context in which the study is located was the Master in Virtualization of Training Processes from the Universidad de Oriente in Santiago de Cuba. In the present investigation, a pre-experiment was applied as a method designed under a mixed approach in which quantitative and qualitative elements of research intervene, and in which elements were raised that allowed a descriptive performance to be carried out with the intention of analyzing the variables included to measure the evolution of the proposal prepared as a concretion of the procedure used in the introduction of the study carried out.
