SANCHEZ GARRIDO, Alberto; RODRIGUEZ REYES, Enrique and VAYAS VALDIVIESO, Walter Alberto. Analysis of evidence-based medicine and its use in undergraduate training. Conrado [online]. 2021, vol.17, n.83, pp. 406-413. Epub Dec 10, 2021. ISSN 1990-8644.
Health students need the use of instruments, tools that facilitate patient care, that they feel pleased with the treatment and the speed in solving the condition that afflicts them. Evidence-based medicine should be encouraged today and be integrated with both the prior medical knowledge and experience of the practitioner. Although there is rejection by some people, evidence-based medicine is of vital importance, since clinical practices can be carried out that more easily improve the health of patients. Determining what elements influence the choice of evidence-based medicine as a working instrument is the purpose of this research. Methods such as Pareto Diagram and AHP Saaty multicriteria method were applied, from the selection of fundamental elements for the choice of evidence-based medicine as a tool to improve the care and quality of patient services through a focus group.
