Abstract

The Latin American university in the colony is the first of seven articles that the authors intend to develop and generalize in a scientific and academic text useful in university culture. The purpose of this work is to analyze the most relevant events of different historical stages of the University to assess their behavior in Latin America. The fundamental theoretical method is the historical-logical and the synthetic analytical, and from practice the analysis of documents was used. The fundamental results that have been reached are associated with the behavior of the similarities and differences between the universities according to their emergence and their geographical area.
