The present article aims to socialize the information about the training of Computer Science Engineering students to solve professional problems, obtained through a diagnosis of the teaching-learning process of the Organizational Management discipline of this university career that offers the University of Informatics Sciences, Cuba. Through the integrative analysis of the results of the applied diagnosis, it is recognized that the Organizational Management discipline program is pertinent and necessary so that students can direct and manage the transformations of the processes of the entities associated with information management, which allow its computerization to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Cuban organizations. The diagnosis provided information about the limitation in the number of activities and methodological actions that are planned to enhance the contribution of the discipline to the preparation of students to solve professional problems, as well as the insufficiencies in the professional approach of the content taught in the discipline, taking into account the little use of examples from practical life related to the workplace.
