The objective of the work presented is to design a model for the characterization of Citizen Education in Medicine students of the Enrique Cabrera Faculty of Havana, from action research with a view to the elaboration and implementation of a participatory strategy for transform the current state. Theoretical and empirical methods are used, taking into consideration two dimensions, with their respective indicators and the measurement criteria to determine the Levels of Citizen Education, in addition, the corresponding Diagnosis instruments are described. Among the results obtained, the validity of the instruments is verified and information is obtained on Citizenship Training in Medical Education, based on affective - experiential aspects, which serve for deeper studies of the student body, the solution for further research and contributes to improve the teaching. It constitutes an optimal, flexible, dynamic and adaptable model to the particular conditions of each Faculty of Medical Sciences.
