The increase in people who are considered elderly is considerable. Given that older adults constitute an important part of society, which is also useful as transmitters of knowledge and experiences; It is interesting to study their rights in the workplace. The university, as an institution inserted in society, also has older adults as part of its staff, both as teachers and in the administrative area. Due to the above, the perceived labor treatment of older adults at Uniandes University was proposed as the objective of the research. To meet the objective, theoretical methods were used such as synthetic analytical, inductive deductive, historical logic, empirical methods such as interview, observation, surveys, IADOV method and DEMATEL. A low level of satisfaction was observed among the respondents, the possible causes were identified and they were ranked and qualified for their solution.
