Abstract

The research carried out to present this article had the objective of analyzing the level of profitability of the tourist undertakings of the cantons in order to develop their economic sustainability, improving the quality of family life of the inhabitants of the cantons of Sucre San Vicente. The research was qualitative and quantitative. The survey technique was used, in addition of the Delphi method. The sample was simple random, the SPS 25 was used. The reliability was satisfactory of 0.922 Cronbach's alpha where it was shown that the applied instrument was reliable. It is verified that the cantons have a strong local dynamism, given by small enterprises that are working from the perspective of sustainability. Furthermore, the interest of entrepreneurs is evident due to the level of organizational and economic growth. Therefore, they are enthusiastic about developing a training project for tourism entrepreneurs with issues of managing economic resources with the support of local government academies, interested in improving the quality of life in the sector.
