Abstract

Socio-emotional education is currently a priority, justified by social, educational and mental health reasons; that make it the cornerstone of school and non-school educational projects developed by teachers, parents and social educators. World experiences are diverse and although they constitute an important reference for educational practice, there is still no psychopedagogical theory that supports socio-emotional education, adjusted to the configuration of the Cuban educational model, since it is diluted in training purposes, considering one of the edges of social learning that is not stimulated intentionally and systematically. Addressing this problem was the task developed within the framework of the project "School, family and community relations to stimulate social learning in schoolchildren", by the authors in the province of Cienfuegos. In principle, the advances in the reflections were identified, the works carried out by the students and professors of the Lic. career in education Pedagogy Psychology on the subject were systematized; to propose as a fundamental result the determination of the psycho-pedagogical requirements to favor socio-emotional education; that emerge from the content analysis and the proposals of the student scientific activity of the students. The result has a methodological theoretical value, as it confirms the possibility of including the configuration of the psycho-pedagogical influences to be developed in the socio-emotional education proposals that are designed in and for the different educational levels in Cienfuegos.
