Abstract

MORAN GILER, Merly Claribel  and  SUAREZ ALBINO, Manuel Augusto. Educational actions for young people in preventive prison. Measures to reduce its high index. Conrado [online]. 2023, vol.19, n.93, pp. 144-150.  Epub July 07, 2023. ISSN 1990-8644.

Preventive detention implies the loss of the ambulatory freedom of a person who is immersed in a criminal process. In which it is being decided whether or not he is criminally responsible for the facts for which, depending on the state of the process, he is being investigated, accused or judged. Said mandate entails that the subject is admitted to a prison, for a determined period, while his legal situation is resolved in the process. This research work had a mixed approach. It relied on the use of theoretical and empirical methods such as the Iadov satisfaction scale and the Saaty multicriteria method, which allowed reaching conclusions and contributions of the investigation. The main objective of the research was to propose educational actions, aimed at reducing the crime rate by young people, both those who are in pretrial detention and those who are not, providing mechanisms for their social reintegration. In addition, the need to consider the reduction in the use and abuse of this judicial measure was exposed.
