Abstract

The purpose of the present article is to propose the objectives and contents that can guide the environmental education for the sustainable development in the Education of Adults, in function of the incorporation of new perspectives in its development. One of them is related with the student's preparation, so that he/she appropriates of the necessary tools to be implied in the environmental administration and, from this, be projected as an educator, in different performance scenarios: the family, the community and the labor center. Another points toward the improvement of the address of the process, in correspondence with the demands that it requires at the present time, with the student's particularities and, starting from fomenting significant relationships in the learning. In accordance with the above-mentioned, the objectives are exposed that should guide their development in each level of this education; the knowledge and environmental topics settle down to try, in profit of the potentialities that offer the contents of the subjects, as well as the abilities, attitudes and values to develop. The steps are presented that, from the methodological point of view, he/she should keep in mind the educational one for their treatment.
