The culture of peace is a large process, which is established based on moral and ethical principles of universal acknowledgement. Educate people under the conception of peace and the development of citizen forming is a challenge or the educative community, because is necessary to consider different components to transform the society, and to find solutions to face conflict without violence, and to get valuable and positive solutions according to the actual convulsive situation of Colombia. This article has the objective to reflect about some issues and challenges of the educative community in the development process of personality, in order to shape a new citizen, capable to interact, and to have relationships with other persons, respect rules of coexistence, to know his- her rights, and duties, and to be educative inserted in a new society.

To create a culture of piece, pedagogical processes have to guaranty a process of knowledge acquisition related to territory, culture, the social and economic context as well as history, with the purpose to promote general prosperity and to guaranty the effectiveness of the principles, rights and duties expressed in the Political Constitution of Colombia.
