Abstract

AGUADO IGLESIAS, Juan Carlos. Analysis and comment of the Text When Leaving of the poet, Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda. Varona [online]. 2019, n.68, e10.  Epub June 01, 2019. ISSN 0864-196X.

With the present research a glimpse is taken to the knowledge of the exceptional figure which cultivated several literary genres, among whom poetry arises, that reveals the poet Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda as the lyric voice of romanticism, full with a strong charge of feelings that show her as the writer of the hallucinated and personal voice, who would leave us the most audacious and vigorous poetry of her time. It is assumed as objective of this work: to understand and value the romantic lyric voice of this author in her large literary doing, by means of the analysis of some of her poetic texts. The verses employed in her poetry evidence the metric virtuosity of this writer. Actually, that peculiar skill is nothing but a flexibility of the voice, frequently employed to achieve more subtle tones in the poem, to reproduce thought alternations and in ultimate stance, to create a sort of polyphony, in the same way other authors overlie lines of voices and join them, to forge the architecture of their texts. Avellaneda was capable, in the more productive side of her poetry, to develop a romanticism to its ultimate consequences. The ways of her lyric poetry allow us a deeper approach in the analysis of the performance of her romantic lyric.

Keywords : lyrical; romanticism; virtuosity; metric; tula.
