The study of the life and work of the Apostle must be approached from the different areas of student action in the school. In their pedagogical professional practice, the authors developed the present research contextualizing the facts of Universal History with a third world approach based on the Martian vision from a timely selection of their texts, to contribute to a teaching-learning process of the Universal History that results in the humanistic formation of adolescents in Basic Secondary Education and in the development of critical thinking. The authors elude the traditional Eurocentric view of historical processes, focused on the contradiction of civilization-barbarism, and assume the defense of the identity and cultural values of civilizations of Asia, Africa and Latin America contributed to the heritage of universal culture. For its development a bibliographic systematization is made that allows a coherent vision of historical events and an accurate critical assessment of the bibliography consulted.
