Student desertion in university system represents a problem in economic and social field of Ecuadorian families, especially when abandonment of studies is caused by problems in interpersonal relationships or lack of attention of the academic state at the time of admission of students to a higher education process. The Politécnica Salesiana University in accordance with the Salesian Accompaniment Program for Users of the Higher Education Quota Policy, offers a proposal to accompany students from groups socially and economically postponed, systematizing it as an application methodology in the follow-up of students with academic and human, problems at the time of entering the process of higher education and during the first years of it. It is purpose of the present work, to evidence the execution of the proposal of the salesian accompaniment program for users of the Higher Education quota policy.
