Abstract
BETANCOURT RODRIGUEZ, Yoel; IGLESIAS CORONEL, Ciro E; RODRIGUEZ OROZCO, Miguel and MARTINEZ MONZON, Erasmo. Mount surface characterization for the design of stripe tillage implements in the sugar cane plantation. Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2011, vol.20, n.3, pp.46-48. ISSN 2071-0054.
The characteristics of the mound surface of interest for the design of the work member for the stripe tillage are presented, as the mound's height average in fields between 6 and 7 years was of 0,17 m and the width average from the tope to 0,05; 0,1 m and in the base of 0,51; 0,73 and 0,85 m, respectively. The distribution of the stump on the flowerbed, from its center and in the traverse plane at 0,15; 0,35 and 0,45 m in 10 lineal meter were of 54,3; 31,9; and 13,8%. The pattern that is adjusted to determine the mound's height in function of the horizontal distance is Hc = 0,016 - 0,358*DH + 2,048(DH)2 + 2,276(DH)3 - 0,711(DH)4.
