Abstract

ALBONIGA GIL, Roberto Amado; DOMINGUEZ VENTO, Calixto; IGLESIAS CORONEL, Ciro Enrique  and  FERNANDEZ DE CASTRO FABRE, Astrid. Mechanical brush principle applied to an implement of soil preparation. Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2011, vol.20, n.4, pp.17-21. ISSN 2071-0054.

Crops like sugar cane are very demanding about the depth of planting and conservationists must find ways to produce, so as to limit the maximum energy costs, the deterioration of the fields and carbon emissions to the atmosphere produced in large quantities to leave bare soil, not to mention the damage caused by erosion. Drawing on the design parameters of the mechanical brush, an analysis of the most significant, to design an agricultural implement, that under this principle is capable of working the soil in strips, causing the least possible involvement of soil.

Keywords : sugar cane; agricultural machine; conservation agriculture.
