Abstract

BETANCOURT RODRIGUEZ, Yoel et al. Modification to the C101 escarifier for the stripe primary operation in the heavy clay soil in sugar cane . Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2012, vol.21, n.1, pp.31-33. ISSN 2071-0054.

The labour quality of C 101 modified scarifier (C101M) for the stripe tillage in the heavy clay soil was evaluated. The results showed that: increase the depth of work of the C 101M from 0,10 to 0,15 m in regard to the inter-row space, enlarge the width of work up to 1 m. The C 101 without modification left 0,063 m2 out of soil braking, respect to the C 101 M, and 0,013 m2 in the sides of the mound base. Also, significant different were found of 4,8 sugar cane stocks without eliminate in 10 lineal meter after the pass of the implement in primary operation. Work depth versus depth of work in real condition is according in 97,5% of the modeling results between both parameters.
