Abstract

HOURNE-CALZADA, María Bárbara et al. Criticality analysis of Electrics Groups Generators of the technology fuel oil in Cuba. Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2012, vol.21, n.3, pp.55-61. ISSN 2071-0054.

In 2004, Cuba begin a new program, which consists of a pattern of power generation sites by installing batteries composed of Electrics Groups Generators, which operate with diesel or fuel oil, constituting one of the more profound conceptual changes in this area. This work aims to obtain a mathematical model for criticality analysis that make possible the hierarchy classification of systems, subsystems and equipment in the process of generating electricity from generators at the sites of  fuel-oil technology. To carry out this objective it was necessary: The study of different models of criticality and the potential feasibility of their use in the field of research. The identification of systems and subsystems that make up the generators. The realization of a documentary analysis of the most common faults incurred by systems and equipment for generators. Model validation and finally was classified the documentation according to asset criticality index against complexity index. We developed an instrument approach from experts to determine the variables to consider in the model of criticality in progress for a study model of reliability. The resulting model was applied to several plants of generators providing satisfactory results.

Keywords : index of importance; criticality; reliability; power systems.
