LORA CABRERA, Damián; FERNANDEZ SANCHEZ, Manuel; RAMOS GONZALEZ, Roberto and GARCIA DE LA FIGAL COSTALES, Armando Eloy. Economic feasibility using precision agriculture tools at the Cattle Enterprise Niña Bonita. Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2012, vol.21, n.4, pp. 19-23. ISSN 2071-0054.
Nowadays, the analyses of the operating costs of the agricultural machinery do not come true at full length, reflecting in most agricultural organizations. The calculation of these costs must come true as good as possible, depending significantly on raw materials consumptions (fuels and lubricants), maintenances and repair and equipment depreciation. An efficient use of the machinery, an adequate level of energetic parameters and the amount of maintenances are assumed for the final result of operating expenses, which are deteriorated in many cases. In order to improve this situation, two tools the today acknowledged and extended precision agriculture were introduced experimentally at Cattle Enterprise Niña Bonita. The role play by GPS and SIG at the enterprise favored the diminishing of machinery's operating expenses in 4,95%.
Keywords : operating costs; energetic bearers; efficiency.
