Abstract

BETANCOURT RODRIGUEZ, Yoel et al. Indexes of three primary tillage implements in soil with mound surface and covering of vegetables residues. Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2016, vol.25, n.1, pp. 17-22. ISSN 2071-0054.

With the objective of proving the benefits of using the stripe primary tillage by the C 101M in the sugar cane land preparation an experiment was carried out in a soil classified as typic vertic Geyish, with mound surface and covering of vegetables residues. The economics and exploitation indexes of soil ploughing with three implements: step action scarifier C 101M, the multi-plough M 250 and the disks plough AT-90 were evaluated. The main results shown that the scarifier C 101M reach better economics and exploitation indexes, with the 72% spent at the working time, and less time to solve the technological fails (7%); high productivity, increasing the number of hectare per hour of exploitation time at 21%, better exploitation coefficients, reaching a shift time and a technological security coefficients superiors to 10 and 16%, respectively; less specific fuel consumption, up to 22%, and exploitation direct expense at 28%. The stripe primary tillage by the C 101M under the condition studied was recommended.

Keywords : operation index; fuel consumption; cost; stripe scarification.
