Abstract
CARMENATES-HERNANDEZ, Dayma; LOPEZ-SILVA, Maiquel; MUJICA-CERVANTES, Albi and PANEQUE-RONDON, Pedro. Effect of Flow Variations in Micro Irrigation Systems in Guava Crop (Psidium guajava L). Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2017, vol.26, n.2, pp.48-54. ISSN 2071-0054.
The research was carried out in the Cooperative “El Tezón” of Ceballos Agroindustrial Company in Ciego de Ávila. Two models of drippers were studied with the objective of evaluating the effect of flow variations on self - compensating emitters in micro irrigation systems in guava (Psidium guajava L.). In mechanical and hydraulic evaluations of emitters, the pressure-flow curve was experimentally determined for the models evaluated, obtaining polynomial equations with very good adjustment of the curves and correlation coefficients above 90%. In addition, it was determined the variation of the flow rate due to the water temperature, where the sensitivity of the self-compensating emitters to the temperature variations was demonstrated
