Abstract

LAU RODRIGUEZ, Cristina Beatriz  and  LUKOKI, Evelina. The Strategic Improvement and the Strategy of Diminishing the Oil Investment Cost in Empresa Sonangol Cuba . Cofin [online]. 2018, vol.12, n.2, pp. 381-394. ISSN 2073-6061.

Strategic improvement is the most general way to understand the progress of business activity in an unpredictable and difficult environment, which requires concentration on those achievable objectives in business, markets and areas to compete, so that capacity is developed, to respond effectively and efficiently to favorable opportunities and to threats or challenges (raw materials, technologies, finances and human capacities required internally in organizations). In this sense, this work proposes the improvement of strategic planning, an analysis of its theoretical methodological framework, a characterization and diagnosis, and the strategy to "reduce the cost and increase profitability", in the period 2015-2020, in the Oil Company Sonangol Cuba.

Keywords : corporate strategy; business strategies; functional strategy; strategic planning; processes.
