It searched to determine the level of communicational empowerment of the students of the Communication and Social Communication careers of the Faculty of Social Communication of the University of Guayaquil obtained during their execution in the outreach projects. These programs comply with humanizing the student outside the academic classrooms and together with the teacher identify possible solutions for the intervened communities. Descriptive methods were applied with exploratory field indexes, non-experimental-transectional under the structuralist method and the use of materials such as online surveys and interviews with teachers in the outreach area; reflecting as a result a weakened and apathetic bonding process, excluding the need for a creative university integration in the structuring of these projects that optimally intensifies their communication skills.
