Abstract

There are shown some remarkable aspects to face the methodological orientation for a class where it is mentioned the fulfillment of the didactic principles and their correspondence with the demands of the curriculum, making emphasis in the distinctive aspects of the teaching-learning process in the medical sciences careers. It is exampled through a lecture of the Integral General Medicine subject I the 5th year of the Medicine career.  It was carried out an analysis of documents of the professional profile or the career, its syllabus and corresponding discipline, regulations about the methodological work, taking into consideration the most updated information about the topic. Examples are given about how to elaborate this document, as well as different possibilities are given to elaborate methodological guidelines with a great scientific and pedagogical support for the medical sciences.
