Abstract

In Cuba, the community is important as a setting for popular participation, it is strengthened through the organization of the community. The health teams, together with the representatives of the sectors involved in carrying out the health-care projects, materialize their implementation. The authors analyzed several bibliographies with the aim of socializing some concepts and ways of interacting with their members to prepare the tasks that strengthen community work, among them: the identification of leaders and learning needs, the elaboration of a comprehensive analysis of the health situation, the development of social communication strategies, the application of the participatory research-action method for the solution of the problems, the systematic evaluation of the proposed actions and the impact on the health levels of the population.
