Abstract

Background:

the didactic guides in higher education offer the student information about the content and how to manage knowledge.

Objective:

to elaborate didactic guides on Antimicrobial aspects that allow to improve the teaching of the Clinical Pharmacology subject in the Medicine degree.

Methods:

a development research was carried out at Villa Clara University of Medical Sciences in the period from January to July 2019. The research was organized in three stages. Theoretical methods were used: analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction; and empirical ones: documentary review, and specialist criteria for the evaluation of the designed product.

Resultados:

el análisis de promoción del tema Antimicrobianos de la asignatura Farmacología Clínica mostró resultados insatisfactorios lo cual evidenció la necesidad del diseño y uso de guías de estudio, por lo que su confección constituyó una prioridad de trabajo para el colectivo de asignatura en función de la preparación de los estudiantes.

Conclusiones:

fueron valoradas como positivas por los especialistas al orientar a los estudiantes en su actividad de aprendizaje independiente.

Results:

the analysis of the Antimicrobial topic grades of the Clinical Pharmacology subject showed unsatisfactory results, which evidenced the need for the design and use of study guides, for which their preparation constituted a work priority for the subject group based on the student preparation.

Conclusions:

they were valued as positive by the specialists when guiding the students in their independent learning activity.
