OJEDA SUAREZ, Rafael; SPOOR, Max  and  ESTRADA, María Elena. ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE INDEX AND SOCIAL RESILIENCE IN ECOSYSTEMS. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.1, pp.6-12. ISSN 2218-3620.

Yale University through its Center for Environmental Law and Policy and Columbia University with its Information Network International Center for Earth Sciences, have developed systems of environmental performance evaluation since 1999. In September 2015, the 2030 agenda was approved to meet the sustainable development objectives until that year, in May 2016 the Environmental Performance Index was published, which seeks to quantify the results of environmental policies and provides an order among countries. The objective of this work is to reflect on ecosystems resilience as an awareness of its contribution to the environmental performance index and its relation with the policies and future goals towards the Objectives of Sustainable Development. (OSD).
