Abstract

This paper is intended to address recycling as a viable option to innovate and undertake new forms of alternative production by encouraging reuse, creating and strengthening an awareness of proper waste management, and special ecosystem care. The proposal was applied to the baccalaureate college Juan Montalvo, Machala city, El Oro province, through a process of sensitization, research, reflection and action to improve the population quality of life. With strategies aimed at our educational communities, it is possible to fight the great problem of contamination by inadequate waste management and, in turn, establish mechanisms that enable children, youth and adults contribute to its solution. Thereof,   from its own homes and schools it is intended to develop a culture of recycling as a way to contribute to the environment conservation, becoming new recycling entrepreneurs.
