Abstract

Increasing the quality of professional training in general and of economic, administrative and accounting sciences in particular, requires improving the teaching work, where priority is the integration of knowledge. Conducted research reveal the importance of interdisciplinary relationships between the contents of subjects and disciplines of the curriculum. Integrative teaching task acquire particular relevance at present because of the need of competent professional formation capable of responding to the increasingly complex problems of society, where decision-making with scientific foundation has a special connotation. This experience is the result of a methodological scientific project developed at the Metropolitan University of Ecuador (headquarters Guayaquil), aim at designing an integrated teaching task to contribute to the development of the competence ability of choice with scientific basis, determining from the production plan of the company, in which knowledge of several subjects of the curriculum are integrated. As a main result, the paper provides the design of inclusive teaching task for the development competence ability of choice with scientific basis, in the selection of the optimal production variant. It is applied knowledge of several disciplines, particularly operations research with use of optimization methods.
