Abstract

This research offers the main theoretical aspects of the teaching-learning process in the subject Accounting for Costs in the Business Management Engineering degree at the Metropolitan University of Ecuador (UMET). In the diagnosis, methods of the theoretical and empirical level were used to determine the current state of the independent work, facilitating the identification of the main regularities. It also contains methodological considerations for its use.
