This research responds to the need to transform the process of continuous training of teachers of Ecuadorian Higher Education, so that it responds to the true training needs of teachers and their context. Since the assumption of the dialectical hermeneutic method and epistemic support for the above mentioned training process and taking into account that the strengthening, development and redefinition of this process will contribute cardinally to the qualification of the Metropolitan University of Ecuador (UMET), a New model of pedagogical continuous training, based on pedagogical competence Management of the professionalization of teachers, as an articulating axis for the development of their pedagogical skills, connoting the relations between evaluation-anticipation, projection-conciliation and intervention-professional improvement, Taking into account the delimitation of contextual professional situations and the consensual construction of the itineraries of continuous pedagogical training by each teacher, which will contribute to the improvement of their professional performance.
