In the article, a theoretical analysis is carried out on the main problems that small and medium enterprises have in Ecuador. Regarding credit access and the problems derived from it, the study carried out by the National Financial Corporation in the province of El Oro, a public institution with a long history of financial services to support the productive sectors. In the literature review of this work, he made empirical studies on the liquidity of the companies and their problems in order to obtain credit, demanded guarantees, time of validity of the companies, among others, of Ecuador and other countries, that reveal the credit reality that is lived. From the description of these realities, a credit strategy was provided that allows them to be supported by the financial corporation of the province.
