Abstract

The relationship between the training of the professional and the demands of the labor market is identified as the only one of the challenges that define the decisions about the university resume. Some careers more than others are giving answers to this requirement from the redesign of the meshes, but it does coincide with the fact that it is necessary, this position is not enough. It is necessary to carry out initiatives that involve a specific level of learning activities in training for job performance. This paper explains the conceptions that have been prepared for the design of a training project in the tourism career in Ecuador, which as research proposals that emerge from an empirical study and the opinion in which students participate, university teaching executives and businessmen in the analysis of the conditions that should characterize a training project oriented to work performance and that is erected as a response and contribution to the fulfillment of the objectives of the National Plan of Good Living; the change in the productive matrix in the country and the demands of the university academic regime oriented to good living can serve as a guide to new reflections in a field in which possibilities for curricular research and innovation are noticed.
