The work starts from the interpretation and analysis of the elements of Law and justice that appear in the work of the Merchant of Venice written by William Shakespeare. In this sense, the importance of justice value is to determine within the complex structure of social relations, while determining the clear interpretation that friendship with the law constitutes a way of appreciating the legal order and its essential unitive power. A descriptive study is used, using theoretical methods such as historical logic and synthetic analytical and empirical level document analysis. These methods were accompanied by the corresponding literature review techniques.
