The objective of this presentation was to expose the case of a female patient who intentionally introduces a foreign body (ray of bike) in the chest; which is why we explored the chest cavity, not being verified organic lesion in the surgical act, as it was an unusual case is decided to publish with the aim of exhibiting the characteristics of a clinical case with the presence of a foreign body post intrathoracic penetrating trauma to the chest. The trauma is defined as an external force, stress, or act of physical violence against a human being. The wounds by strange bodies intrathoracic, despite being infrequent entity, can remain without complications, or functional limitations in some patients. The diagnosis is clinical and imaging tests. The treatment of choice, is the realization of minimum pleurostomias high, medium, or low in most cases.
