REYES PEREZ, Aimé María; ROJAS QUINTANA, Práxedes de Regla; CHAVEZ GONZALEZ, Neisy  and  REYES PEREZ, Aida María. Use of the hysteroscopy in patients with fertility trastorns. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.2, pp. 24-29.  Epub Apr 02, 2020. ISSN 2218-3620.

Due to the need to characterize infertility patients, to whom it is decided to perform hysteroscopy to evaluate their endometrial cavity. This procedure was performed on 103 patients. Interviews, surveys and inquiries were applied to them. For its analysis, the SPSS 15 program was used, taking into account a series of elements such as age, personal pathological history, type of infertility, nutritional status, cause of infertility, ultrasonographic findings, diagnosis prior to hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic findings, histological results of endometrial tissue. As a result, it is obtained that the highest proportion of the patients who were part of the experiment are considered supposedly healthy and the rest with fertility disorders. Finally, hysteroscopy is a procedure that must be performed on infertile patients, as it improves the evaluation of the endouterin cavity, thus avoiding embryonic implantation failures.

Keywords : Histeroscopy; endometrial cavity; infertility.
