Abstract

ESPINOZA FREIRE, Eudaldo Enrique. Methodological strategy for interculturality in teacher training. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.2, pp. 369-379.  Epub Apr 02, 2020. ISSN 2218-3620.

This article aims to socialize the results of quasi-experimental research in which a methodological strategy was designed and applied for the axiological treatment of the intercultural dimension of the teacher training process in the Basic Education career of the Technical University of Machala (UTMach). The research responds to the quantitative paradigm, systematized by the methods: analytical-synthetic, statistical and experimental. The results show that the application of this strategy led to a positive change in the attitudes of students by recognizing the rights of all Ecuadorian citizens regardless of race, culture or ethnic group.

Keywords : Attitudes; principles; values; rights; indigenous.
