Abstract

One of the effects of COVID-19 is associated with the increase in psychological disorders resulting from the extreme measures that condition the fight to contain this pandemic. In particular, confinement, along with hygiene precautions and human distancing, also extends to psychological disorders such as anxiety. The analysis of this disorder and the ideas that must be assumed to control it in times of COVID 19 is the objective of this work. From the methodological point of view, a methodology based on theoretical systematization and reflections that, from the author's professional experience, help to confirm the need to prepare people so that they can face the problems and effects of anxiety caused by this pandemic. As conclusions, it is ensured that anxiety in times of pandemic can be considered natural and beneficial but it is planned to avoid the excesses that are assumed as a implication of prolonged periods of isolation, therefore it is prices to compromise all professionals and students of psychology and staff that include in their therapies the communication of key ideas that can reduce the effect of anxiety and achieve improvements in mental health in the face of COVID 19.
