Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2023, vol.15, n.6, pp. 31-38.  Epub Dec 10, 2023. ISSN 2218-3620.

The present investigation was developed in the Water and Sanitation Business Group, with the objective of proposing a mathematical model based on compensatory fuzzy logic and a checklist for the evaluation of organizational communication variables to improve the level of integration of the management system of the companies integrated into the Water and Sanitation Business Group; for this, two companies were taken as samples: Western Hydraulic Works Maintenance Company (EMAROHO) and Aguas de La Habana. Thanks to the help of specialists in Social Communication, four variables with their indicators were proposed, which are essential for the design of an organizational communication model. To meet the objective, techniques were applied to obtain and analyze information such as: direct observation, interviews, consultation of standards and records, Ishikawa diagrams, checklist, analysis of indicators in terms of Compensatory Fuzzy Logic, 360° technique, among others; obtaining that the most deficient variable was internal communication and the one with the best performance was the communication skills of the workers.
