We live in a world increasingly dependent on scientific knowledge, characterized by the accelerated development of science, for this reason it has become known as the “age of knowledge.” From this perspective, the need arises to alleviate the significant role played by the systematic use of scientific research and with it the correct realization of scientific results. In this article, reference will be made to one of them, the most used and the least achieved in the research reports presented by our students: the strategy. The objective of this work is to reflect on some theoretical-methodological issues around strategy as a scientific result and how to achieve greater effectiveness in its implementation. The research process was carried out from a descriptive study, where methods from the theoretical, empirical and statistical levels were used, which allowed the processing of information, the characterization of the research object, and determining its theoretical and methodological foundations. In conclusion, the great importance of strategy with all its typologies as a scientific result is highlighted, as it helps the researcher to offer his or her procedure (objectives, stages, actions) in an orderly and reflective manner, to achieve his or her final result.
